Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in high-volume food and beverage environments
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory role
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of state liquor laws or possession of a state Alcohol Awareness certificate
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, late nights, and extended hours
  • Experience preparing banquet style events
  • Strong budgetary and cost control skills
  • Excellent organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in high-volume food and beverage environments
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred degree in food and beverage management
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • Experience preparing banquet style events
  • Knowledge of state liquor laws or a state Alcohol Awareness certificate
  • Strong budgetary, projection, and cost control skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the companys mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and cash flow related to bar operations
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
  • Work with operations and sales to plan and execute events
  • Supervise beverage preparation, service, and cleanup during events
  • Estimate beverage consumption and make purchases according to the bar program
  • Schedule staff efficiently based on business volume
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain bar staff
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, presentation meet company standards
  • Supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of beverages
  • Manage bar equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits
  • Ensure compliance with local department of health regulations
  • Assist with bartending as needed
  • Support the general manager on bar-related matters
