Bowie House is looking for an experienced Bar Manager to lead its beverage operations and create extraordinary guest experiences. This role demands a dynamic leader who can curate an exceptional beverage program, inspire a highly skilled team, and foster a lively yet polished atmosphere. The Bar Manager will oversee daily bar operations including staff management, inventory control, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the workspace. They will be tasked with training and supervising bar staff to provide top-tier customer service while adhering to company policies and responsible alcohol service practices.
A core responsibility of the role involves designing and updating a compelling beverage menu that highlights innovative cocktails and keeps pace with the latest trends in the hospitality industry. Managing the bar budget effectively, monitoring sales and expenses, and implementing strategic cost controls to optimize profitability without compromising quality are key profitability drivers. Job Duties
- oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar including staff scheduling inventory management and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- train supervise and motivate bar staff ensuring they follow company policies provide exceptional customer service and adhere to responsible alcohol service practices
- develop and update the bar's beverage menu selecting and creating new cocktails and staying informed about industry trends to enhance the overall drink offerings
- manage the bar budget monitor sales and expenses implement cost-control measures and strive to maximize profitability while maintaining quality
- implement strategies to enhance the customer experience including creating a welcoming atmosphere organizing promotions and responding effectively to customer feedback
- collaborate with event planners and other departments to coordinate bar services for special events ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction
