Job Description

Aventura is a distinguished restaurant located in the heart of Downtown Ann Arbor, celebrated for its modern tapas, world-renowned Valencian paella, and warm, inviting hospitality. Drawing inspiration from the lively tapas bars of Spain, Aventura offers guests a vibrant and authentic dining experience that emphasizes bold flavors, handcrafted cocktails, thoughtfully curated wines, and a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is part of The Pulpo Group, a respected hospitality organization recognized for its commitment to excellence and innovation in the culinary scene. Aventura is not just a place to dine but a destination that combines culture, community, and culinary artistry in an unforgettable way.

The role we are offering is that of a Bar Manager, a key leadership position within the restaurant. This is more than just a management role – it is a unique opportunity to lead one of Ann Arbor's premier beverage programs. The Bar Manager will be a visible and influential leader on the restaurant floor, working closely with the General Manager and the broader leadership team to enhance the guest experience, inspire and mentor a talented team of bartenders, and continuously develop the restaurant's cocktail, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverage offerings. Passion for hospitality, beverage innovation, and team development are essential qualities for this role. The position offers a chance to shape the future of Aventura's beverage program while upholding the highest standards of service, quality, and operational excellence. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and who seek to lead through humility, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to exceptional guest experiences. The Bar Manager will have the responsibility to manage inventory, control costs, create seasonal beverage features, and build strong vendor relationships, ensuring the beverage program remains dynamic, consistent, and responsibly operated. Compensation is competitive, and the opportunity includes benefit offerings that support personal and professional growth within The Pulpo Group's dynamic hospitality environment.
