Job Description
Aventura is one of Ann Arbor's premier dining destinations, renowned for its modern tapas, world-renowned Valencian paella, and an atmosphere that embodies overflowing hospitality in the heart of Downtown Ann Arbor. As a part of The Pulpo Group, Aventura brings the lively, authentic spirit of Spain's tapas bars to the local culinary scene. This innovative restaurant combines bold flavors with handcrafted cocktails, thoughtfully curated wines, and outstanding service to create memorable dining experiences that captivate both locals and visitors alike. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for hospitality, Aventura is a vibrant and dynamic establishment where culinary tradition meets contemporary dining trends.
The Bar Manager role at Aventura is an exceptional leadership opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about beverage innovation and team development. This role goes beyond traditional management, providing a chance to shape and lead one of Ann Arbor's most respected beverage programs. As a visible leader on the restaurant floor, you will work closely with the General Manager and executive team to elevate every aspect of the guest experience, mentor talented bartenders, and drive the evolution of Aventura's cocktail, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverage offerings.
In this capacity, you will manage inventory and ordering, maintain strong vendor relationships, and ensure the highest standards of beverage quality and responsible service. The position demands creativity in crafting seasonal cocktails and beverage features while balancing the operational necessities of cost control, consistency, and efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and who takes pride in leadership marked by humility, professionalism, and accountability. Joining Aventura means becoming part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality and innovative culinary experiences, with competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and ample opportunities for professional growth within The Pulpo Group.
