Job Description

Ethos Hospitality is a distinguished hospitality company known for its commitment to excellence, family-centric values, and innovative culture. With a focus on creating memorable experiences for guests, Ethos Hospitality operates in the dynamic restaurant and hospitality industry, emphasizing service, teamwork, and operational efficiency. The company prides itself on maintaining a work environment where employees are valued for their dedication, passion, and focus, fostering a culture that drives both personal and professional growth. Ethos Hospitality emphasizes radical candor and truth, encouraging its team members to grow through honest communication and shared goals. This ethos permeates every level of the organization, shaping a workplace where culture is prioritized over strategy to achieve long-lasting success and a positive impact on both guests and staff.

The role of Bar Manager at Ethos Hospitality is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, committed individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring the bar team to meet or exceed sales goals while delivering outstanding service. Your leadership will drive both the performance and development of staff through comprehensive training and ongoing education focused on service excellence and operational standards. This role also entails managing the bar facility's upkeep, ensuring the environment remains safe, secure, clean, and efficient for both guests and employees. The Bar Manager will oversee daily operations, including cash handling, inventory control, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding alcohol sales. You will also be expected to maintain high standards for beverage quality, service speed, and guest satisfaction.

Within this role, attention to detail is paramount—from accurately recording and calculating guest orders, managing drinks for both guests and waitstaff, to handling complimentary drinks in accordance with company policy. Communication is a core part of the position where you will relay important information about guest preferences, inventory status, and new product offerings to the broader team and management. The job requires physical stamina as the Bar Manager will regularly stand, walk, carry, bend, and lift heavy items, ensuring the readiness of the bar area at all times.

Joining Ethos Hospitality means becoming part of a family that values relentless drive, passion, humility, and a strong sense of community. The company lives by virtues such as being loving, disciplined, competitive, loyal, consistent, and persistent. If you are someone who is passionate about hospitality, dedicated to leadership, and ready to contribute to a company that values its people and culture, this Bar Manager position offers a rewarding and impactful career. Ethos Hospitality encourages professionals who aspire to 'do what it takes' and leave every place better than they found it to apply today and become a valuable part of their growing family.
