The role of Assistant Bar Service Manager at Four Seasons Hotel & Private Residences Nashville is a pivotal management position within the Bar and Lounge operations. This role requires a dynamic leader who is adept at planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the daily activities and staff performance to uphold the highest standards of service. Job Requirements
- College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience
- two to three years previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager position in food and beverage
- knowledge of division operations and Four Seasons standards, policies and standard operating procedures
- knowledge of food and beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
- ability to operate computer equipment and food and beverage computer systems
- proficiency in reading, writing, and oral English
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Plan, organize, control, and direct the work of bar/lounge employees
- select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline staff
- provide exceptional guest service and handle complaints and special requests
- ensure compliance with local, state, and federal alcohol service laws
- collaborate with management to design effective menus and maintain product quality
- control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, inventory, and cash control
- maintain physical condition of facilities and recommend improvements
- promote positive public relations and be visible in daily operations
