This role of Bar Manager is critical to Parry's mission of delivering superior service and maintaining high standards in every aspect of the restaurant's operations. Bar Managers oversee all bar operations as well as dining room activities, making sure that every guest receives outstanding service from the moment they enter until they leave. A bar manager not only directs day-to-day activities but also plays a vital role in coaching and mentoring both front-of-house and back-of-house employees to maintain service quality and operational consistency. The job involves maintaining cleanliness, managing inventory and costs, promoting menu items to guests, and leading team efforts to achieve sales and profit goals. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in bar or restaurant management preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Ability to mentor and motivate a team

Job Duties

  • Maintain exceptional knowledge of Craveably Crafted food and uncommon hospitality
  • Maintain CHEERS standards in all front-of-house departments
  • Build sales through managing the guest experience
  • Maintain bar cleanliness and quality through daily line checks
  • Drive opening, closing, and checkout duties efficiently
  • Utilize shift cards and restaurant tools to stay organized and on track
  • Visit every table, learn guests' names, promote new items and beers, and stay aware of guests' needs
  • Monitor and track daily beer waste, quality, and control costs
  • Control and maintain labor costs utilizing HotSchedules to schedule and communicate with team
  • Coach, teach, and mentor front-of-house team throughout the shift as the leader in the window
  • Participate in the selection of new hires and implement training and testing procedures
  • Uphold company standards on personal appearance and attire
  • Drive ticket times and communication throughout the team
  • Support the team and the shift by setting up and transitioning shifts appropriately
