Known for attracting a stylish and diverse clientele, The Valorian fosters a culture where innovation and individuality thrive among its team members. The Bar Manager role at The Valorian Los Angeles offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with people and leading a team in a lively hospitality environment. This position is responsible for overseeing the lounge operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning, and maintaining a high standard of guest service. The Bar Manager organizes and conducts pre-shift and departmental meetings, schedules and directs the staff in their work assignments, and creates forecast and revenue reports to support efficient operational decisions.

In addition to managing daily operations, the Bar Manager plays a crucial role in organizing special events in the lobby lounge, such as receptions, and is expected to engage proactively and positively with guests to enhance their experience. This role also involves participating in the interviewing, selection, and training of associates, helping to build a strong and capable team that upholds the hotel's reputation for excellence.

This position is part of Davidson Hospitality Group, an award-winning, full-service hospitality management company that oversees hotels, restaurants, and entertainment venues across the United States. The company partners with prestigious brands such as Hilton, Hyatt, Kimpton, Marriott, and Margaritaville. Davidson’s structure includes specialized verticals—Davidson Hotels, Pivot, Davidson Resorts, and Davidson Restaurant Group—focused on delivering exceptional value to owners and team members alike.

Davidson Hospitality prides itself on offering comprehensive benefits that enrich the lives and well-being of its team members and their families. These benefits include multiple tiers of medical coverage, dental and vision coverage, 24/7 Teladoc service, free maintenance medications, pet insurance, hotel discounts, tuition reimbursement, paid time off covering vacation, sick, bereavement, and holidays, as well as a 401K matching program.

Working at Davidson Hospitality is more than just a job; it’s a calling. Team members become part of a revolution in quality hospitality, playing a vital role in redefining the guest experience for clients, partners, and colleagues. The organization values diversity and inclusivity, maintaining an Equal Opportunity Employer status and a drug-free workplace. Pre-employment drug testing and background checks are mandatory, and the company participates in E-Verify to ensure compliance with employment eligibility standards.

The compensation for the Bar Manager role is hourly, offering a competitive wage of USD $28.46 per hour.
