Chotto Matte is currently seeking an experienced Bar Manager for its San Francisco location. This position comes with a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000, dependent on experience. The Bar Manager job at Chotto Matte is a leadership role that requires hands-on engagement and the ability to inspire a team. The primary responsibility is to manage and oversee all bar operations at a high-volume venue characterized by late-night service and an energetic crowd. The restaurant closes at 1 am on Fridays and Saturdays, so candidates must be comfortable working late-night shifts.

The Bar Manager will lead the bar team, ensuring a high standard of service that consistently meets the expectations of an upscale, fast-paced environment. Beyond overseeing daily bar activities, the manager will implement and uphold standards related to cocktail and wine quality, compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining an innovative approach to the beverage menu. The role also involves talent recruitment, training, and development to build a knowledgeable, motivated bar team.

This position requires close collaboration with senior management and the floor team to guarantee a seamless experience from the bar to the overall venue. The Bar Manager will be highly visible during peak hours, demonstrating leadership by example and fostering a strong bar culture focused on product knowledge, service excellence, and team engagement.
