The manager is responsible for controlling beverage costs, managing inventory, and overseeing vendor relationships to optimize profitability. Additionally, this role plays a strategic part in coaching and developing bartenders and bar team members through performance reviews, training programs, and motivating the team to consistently meet service standards.\n\nAs a Bar Manager, you will oversee day-to-day bar operations, ensuring staff schedules are properly managed while providing hands-on support during shifts. The Manager on Duty responsibility occasionally falls under this role, overseeing the entire restaurant operation in the General Manager's absence. Job Requirements
- college coursework with bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum six months restaurant management experience
- minimum two years bar experience with extensive knowledge of bar operations
- prior experience in purchasing and production
- ability to walk and stand during entire shift up to 10 hours
- frequent bending and stooping required
- ability to lift up to 30 lbs including maneuvering beer kegs
- ability to read and write English
- ability to hear well amidst loud background noise
Job Qualifications
