Job Requirements
- must be able to walk and stand for up to 10 hours
- frequent bending and stooping required
- ability to lift up to 30 pounds including beer kegs
- must be able to read and write English
- must be able to hear well in loud environments
Job Qualifications
- college coursework with bachelor’s degree preferred
- minimum of 6 months of restaurant management experience
- minimum of 2 years of bar experience with extensive knowledge of bar operations
- prior experience in purchasing and production
- effective talent assessment and selection skills
- strong coaching and performance management abilities
- excellent communication skills
- leadership and motivational capabilities
- ability to manage financial results
Job Duties
- drives sales through local marketing initiatives
- identifies operational opportunities to build sales and control costs
- staffs, trains and develops hourly team members
- manages daily bar operations and guest interactions
- maintains bar cleanliness and beverage quality
- manages inventory and purchasing
- oversees security procedures to protect team members and assets
