Job Requirements
- Must be able to walk and stand up to 10 hours per shift
- Frequent bending and stooping required
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs including beer kegs
- Proficient in reading and writing English
- Must have good hearing in loud environments
- Prior management and bar experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- College coursework with Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 months of restaurant management experience
- Minimum of 2 years of bar experience with extensive bar operations knowledge
- Experience in purchasing and production
- Strong leadership and people development skills
- Ability to manage financial aspects of bar operations
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Job Duties
- Drive sales through local marketing initiatives
- Identify and implement operational improvements
- Monitor competitors' bar activities
- Promote local events with staff
- Staff, train, and develop bar team members
- Ensure compliance with training plans and paperwork
- Manage daily bar operations and guest interactions
- Maintain beverage quality and bar cleanliness
- Oversee purchasing, receiving, and inventory management
- Ensure bar equipment maintenance
- Act as Manager on Duty in General Manager's absence
- Implement security procedures for safety
- Resolve guest and vendor issues
- Influence hiring, termination, and recruitment strategies
- Maintain high quality of front-of-house operations
