Job Requirements

  • Must be able to walk and stand up to 10 hours per shift
  • Frequent bending and stooping required
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs including beer kegs
  • Proficient in reading and writing English
  • Must have good hearing in loud environments
  • Prior management and bar experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • College coursework with Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months of restaurant management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of bar experience with extensive bar operations knowledge
  • Experience in purchasing and production
  • Strong leadership and people development skills
  • Ability to manage financial aspects of bar operations
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Drive sales through local marketing initiatives
  • Identify and implement operational improvements
  • Monitor competitors' bar activities
  • Promote local events with staff
  • Staff, train, and develop bar team members
  • Ensure compliance with training plans and paperwork
  • Manage daily bar operations and guest interactions
  • Maintain beverage quality and bar cleanliness
  • Oversee purchasing, receiving, and inventory management
  • Ensure bar equipment maintenance
  • Act as Manager on Duty in General Manager's absence
  • Implement security procedures for safety
  • Resolve guest and vendor issues
  • Influence hiring, termination, and recruitment strategies
  • Maintain high quality of front-of-house operations
