The Bar Lead role at IRHG is pivotal in orchestrating an engaging and efficient bar operation that compels guests to return. Besides preparing and serving drinks, the Bar Lead is responsible for guiding and developing the bar team, ensuring that every member understands their duties and expectations to maintain a high standard of service. The position demands a perfect blend of management acumen and bartending expertise, where the candidate will handle everything from inventory and cost control to conflict resolution and vendor relations. The successful candidate will be a positive, energetic team player with at least three years of bartending experience who is ready to assist and elevate the entire bar staff's performance. Job Requirements

  • Be 21 years of age or older
  • have at least 3 years of bartending experience
  • knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • proficiency in MS Office
  • ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and all guests
  • flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • moderate standing/walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years bartending experience
  • knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • proficiency in MS Office
  • excellent communication skills with managers, employees, and guests
  • ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • flexible with schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • positive energy and approach to customer service

Job Duties

  • Create, prepare, and serve the restaurant's drink recipes, ensure proper preparation and service
  • train your bar staff sufficiently and communicate and set job expectations
  • lead and manage bar staff, while working behind the bar taking food and drink orders, accepting guest payments, mixing and serving drinks and keeping bar snacks stocked
  • quickly resolve all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues
  • working closely with vendors and distributors, and handling all receipts and invoices in a timely fashion
  • financially schedule expenditures, analyze variances, maintain accurate inventories and par levels, and manage alcohol costs and monitor accuracy of charged
