The Bar Helper position at Manning’s Sports Bar, a prominent venue within Caesars New Orleans, plays an integral role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and friendly bar service. Reporting primarily to the bartender, the Bar Helper supports daily bar operations by replenishing stock, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting in customer service, especially during peak hours. This role is essential in contributing to the overall customer experience by facilitating the smooth flow of service. Responsibilities include restocking beverages and supplies, cleaning the bar area, managing inventory levels to meet par stock requirements, retrieving special guest requests, and occasionally preparing non-alcoholic drinks and icing glasses. Job Duties
- work behind the bar to facilitate the smooth flow of service to customers by bartenders and beverage servers
- perform the service of replenishing stock and all cleaning required behind the bar
- check and maintain the required par stock on assigned station
- obtain replacement stock from the dispensing room and or warehouse in accordance with established procedures
- maintain cleanliness and order on assigned station
- assist the bartender in providing maximum efficiency and service levels by retrieving guests' special requests and during busy times icing drink glasses and pouring non-alcoholic drinks
- meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies
- demonstrate Caesars Spotlight 5 behaviors including initiating friendly greeting, smiles and makes eye contact, demonstrates upbeat and positive attitude, checks for satisfaction, provides a warm farewell
