The Bar Manager role at Juliet Italian Kitchen is a pivotal position designed for an experienced and passionate individual who excels in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. This role involves comprehensive oversight of the bar operations, ensuring that every aspect from inventory and ordering to staff management meets the high standards set by the restaurant. The Bar Manager will be responsible for executing all bartending duties during scheduled shifts, maintaining exceptional guest service, and upholding product knowledge. Leading the bar team, this individual will ensure continuous adherence to cleanliness, organization, and service quality. Regular spot-checks and immediate coaching help maintain consistent performance among team members.
Administrative duties are a key part of this role, including conducting bar inventory counts, managing purchase orders for alcohol, wine, and beer, and verifying deliveries. The Bar Manager must also review invoices, calculate bar costs, reconcile discrepancies, and report financial findings to management. The role involves the responsibility for opening and closing protocols of the restaurant, holding keys and authorization to operate these functions securely. The Bar Manager is expected to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.
