Job Description
Bally's Corporation (NYSE: BALY) is a prominent global casino-entertainment company that has established a significant omni-channel presence in the gaming industry. Operating 19 casinos across 11 states, Bally's has grown its footprint to include diverse entertainment assets such as a golf course in New York and a horse racetrack in Colorado. Beyond its physical venues, Bally's Corporation holds Online Sports Betting (OSB) licenses in 13 jurisdictions throughout North America, exemplifying its commitment to expanding its digital reach. Its acquisition of Aspers Casino in Newcastle, UK, further bolsters its international presence, positioning Bally's as a leading player not only in the United States but also globally. The company also commands notable platforms like Bally Bet, a leading sports betting product, and Bally Casino, a rapidly growing online casino platform. Bally's Interactive International division, formerly Gamesys Group, is recognized as a top global interactive gaming operator. Moreover, Bally's holds a significant economic stake in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT), an international lottery management and services company. With an employee base of approximately 11,500, Bally's operations include nearly 17,700 slot machines, 630 table games, and 3,950 hotel rooms, underscoring the vast scale and luxury of its casino resorts. Additionally, Bally's owns rights to develop prime land in Las Vegas, located at the site of the former Tropicana Las Vegas, indicating future expansion plans.
The Barback role at Bally's Corporation plays a crucial supporting function within the casino's bar operations. This position is responsible for assisting bartenders by performing a variety of barback duties that ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the bar area. The Barback engages directly with guests on the casino floor, delivering superior guest service while maintaining clean, well-stocked, and presentable bar stations. Key responsibilities involve stocking beer, wine, liquor, mixers, ice, and dry goods, and providing relief assistance to bartenders during busy periods. The Barback must maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization behind the bar, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning garnish trays, and ensuring floor cleanliness. This role also includes preparing fruit garnishes and assisting with mixing bulk alcohol and mixers for volume sales like concentrated juices, sangria, and spiced cider. Interaction with guests includes greeting new customers and assisting bartenders with drink orders, also potentially serving and collecting payment for drinks under the bartender’s direction. This position is typically compensated at a starting rate of $9.80 per hour and is ideal for candidates with a minimum of one year of food and beverage experience, excellent guest interaction skills, and a flexible, service-oriented approach. Employment at Bally's Corporation offers a dynamic, fast-paced, and vibrant working environment that emphasizes teamwork, guest satisfaction, and professional development opportunities.
