The Barback position at Aramark is a crucial support role designed to ensure the smooth operation of bar services across their varied locations. This role entails maintaining inventory, stocking, and clearing and cleaning duties to assist bartenders and other staff members. Barbacks contribute significantly to the guest experience by ensuring that supplies are well-stocked, equipment is functioning correctly, and service areas are clean and organized. The position also involves operational responsibilities such as helping with opening and closing duties, aiding in product transport and inventory management, and supporting the reordering process to meet dynamic business and guest needs. Additionally, the Barback monitors bar equipment functionality, including taps and kegs, and performs cleaning tasks such as wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash. Maintaining safety and sanitation standards per Aramark policies is critical, along with upholding the security of company assets.

This position requires physical stamina, as it involves constant standing and walking, along with tasks that include lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling. The role demands flexibility in work hours, including evenings and weekends, and necessitates a positive attitude to engage with guests, customers, and colleagues effectively. The Barback role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and is eager to learn and develop new skills. Working for Aramark offers opportunities for growth and advancement within a supportive, mission-driven company dedicated to excellence in service and sustainability.
