The Barback position at Aramark is a vital role within the beverage service team, designed to support bartenders and ensure smooth operations behind the bar. This hourly position, offering a wage of $10.10 per hour, involves a range of tasks focused on maintaining bar inventory, cleanliness, and overall functionality of the bar area. The Barback assists with opening and closing duties such as restocking garnishes, napkins, and straws, as well as ensuring bartenders have the clean towels and glassware necessary for an efficient service experience. The role demands attention to detail in delivering products, maintaining stock integrity with transfer sheets, and ensuring the bar area and guest service zones meet health and safety standards.

This position plays a critical role in guaranteeing that the bar is continually stocked with essential items including ice, liquor, wine, and beer, as well as checking and maintaining equipment such as taps and kegs to ensure proper functionality. The Barback is also responsible for housekeeping duties in the bar area, such as cleaning surfaces, sweeping and mopping floors, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers, and emptying trash receptacles.
