Job Description
The Dragon Beaux is a dynamic hospitality venue known for its vibrant atmosphere and excellent service. It is a well-established bar that caters to a diverse clientele, providing a relaxed yet energetic environment where guests can enjoy a variety of beverages and entertainment. The bar prides itself on maintaining high standards in customer service, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. At Dragon Beaux, the focus is on creating memorable experiences through quality service and a welcoming environment that encourages socializing and relaxation. The establishment is a popular spot for both locals and visitors, offering a wide selection of drinks and a friendly staff dedicated to ensuring every patron feels valued and satisfied.
The Bar Back position at The Dragon Beaux is a crucial role that supports the bartenders and overall bar operations. This role involves maintaining the bar's inventory, ensuring the bar area is clean and well-stocked, and assisting in the smooth functioning of daily bar activities. Bar Backs at Dragon Beaux are responsible for stocking supplies such as ice, glassware, garnishes, and other essentials required by bartenders. They actively assist bartenders by replenishing supplies during service, ensuring that bartenders can focus on mixing and serving drinks efficiently. This position also involves maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and internal policies, such as local, state, and federal regulations related to alcohol service.
In addition to stocking and maintenance duties, the Bar Back helps set up the bar for operation, preparing garnishes, cutting fruit, and managing waste disposal to uphold cleanliness standards. Attention to detail and maintaining par levels for bar supplies are vital to the role, as well as reporting any maintenance or operational issues to the Beverage Operations Shift Manager promptly. The Dragon Beaux values employees who display a neat and clean appearance and provide outstanding service, not only to customers but also in supporting their team members. This role requires someone who is proactive, reliable, and eager to maintain a supportive and efficient bar environment.
The job requires the employee to be at least 21 years old, holding at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in customer service is preferred, as the role involves frequent interaction with both customers and team members. The ability to use mobile devices and touch screen technology is also essential, with prior experience using smartphone or tablet applications being strongly preferred. Because the position involves handling alcoholic beverages, it requires compliance with gaming license regulations and the authority to sell, serve, or distribute such beverages. The Dragon Beaux Bar Back role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow in the hospitality industry, develop their skills in bar operations, and be part of a lively, customer-focused team.
