The Barback position at Aramark is essential for maintaining smooth bar operations and supporting bartenders and other staff members in delivering excellent guest experiences. This role primarily focuses on inventory management, stocking, cleaning, and ensuring that all bar areas are well-prepared for service. Barbacks at Aramark assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking the bar with necessary items like garnishes, straws, and napkins while making sure bartenders have all needed supplies such as clean towels and glassware. They also help in delivering products and maintaining inventory integrity through accurate use of transfer sheets, contributing to effective stock management.

In addition to logistical support, the Barback is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment by sanitizing workstations, guest service areas, and equipment. They ensure the bar is stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer and confirm that all appliances and taps are functioning correctly, including changing out kegs as needed. Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness is a priority, involving tasks such as wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing coolers and storage spaces, and emptying trash receptacles.
