Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and boxes (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Team-player attitude and willingness to assist colleagues
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role (e.g., restaurant, retail)
- Understanding of basic bar terminology and common spirits
- A desire to learn and grow within the hospitality industry
Job Duties
- Efficiently restock all bar items, including spirits, beer, wine, ice, garnishes, and glassware, to ensure uninterrupted service
- Assist bartenders with drink preparation and delivery during peak hours, ensuring timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning spills
- Empty trash receptacles regularly and assist with dishwashing as needed
- Prepare fruit garnishes, syrups, and other mixers as instructed by bartenders or management
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and organizing storage areas
- Communicate effectively with bartenders and management regarding stock levels and potential issues
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations
- Ensure the bar is fully set up before opening and properly closed down at the end of each shift
