Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a bar or restaurant setting beneficial
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of alcohol awareness and responsible serving
- ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- basic math skills for inventory and portion control
Job Duties
- assists bartenders by keeping bar areas clean and stocked
- provides necessary support to ensure prompt and friendly service
- follows alcohol awareness procedures and assesses guest demeanor
- adheres to portion guidelines for cost control
- maintains ongoing guest satisfaction by responding to needs and pre-bussing
- delivers food and ensures guest needs are met
- stocks garnishes, glassware, straws, and napkins
- maintains bottle and keg beer pars and requisition sheets
- empties trash and sweeps floors as needed
- performs opening and closing responsibilities including party breakdown duties
- assists in cleanliness and organization of bar storage areas
- assists in bar inventories
- participates in incentives and contests driving sales
- maintains favorable working relationships with team members
