Atlas Restaurant Group is a prominent hospitality company known for its commitment to exceptional service and vibrant dining experiences. As one of the fastest growing restaurant groups in Baltimore, Atlas has established a reputation for culinary excellence, customer satisfaction, and career growth opportunities. The company's portfolio features a range of distinctive restaurant concepts, each aiming to provide memorable experiences through quality food, innovative drinks, and welcoming atmospheres. Dedicated to fostering a dynamic work environment, Atlas Restaurant Group invests in its employees by offering extensive learning and development programs, advancement opportunities, and comprehensive benefits. They value teamwork, reliability, and a passion for hospitality, all focused on making a positive impact on the city and its vibrant community.

The Bar Assistant role at Atlas Restaurant Group is an integral part of the bar team, supporting bartenders and ensuring that the bar operates seamlessly in a fast-paced environment. This position involves a variety of key responsibilities such as maintaining cleanliness of the bar area, restocking supplies like garnishes, napkins, straws, glassware, and beverages, and assisting with opening and closing duties. The Bar Assistant ensures that the bar is well stocked with all necessities including ice, liquor, wine, and beer, and helps in monitoring equipment like taps and appliances to guarantee they function properly, including making minor repairs or changing kegs when necessary.

In addition to these operational tasks, the Bar Assistant performs bussing duties by clearing empty cups and trash from the bar top and tables, and helps maintain the overall hygiene of the bar by wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash bins. A crucial aspect of the role involves learning about the menu items and memorizing cocktail recipes to assist bartenders effectively, as well as beginning to navigate the POS system. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work well under pressure, maintaining composure and professionalism even during busy or challenging times.

The Bar Assistant position is available in multiple states, each offering competitive compensation often including tips, with hourly wages varying from $3.63 to $14.00 depending on the location. The role demands availability during nights, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the hospitality business. Atlas Restaurant Group offers extensive benefits to support its full-time employees working over 30 hours per week, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k contributions, company-paid life and AD&D insurance, learning and development programs, as well as mobility and advancement opportunities which enable career growth within the group. Part-time employees also receive many benefits such as 401k contribution, life and AD&D insurance, learning programs, and discounts at Atlas properties.

Working at Atlas Restaurant Group means joining a passionate team that cares deeply about its people and the community. Employees benefit from regular interaction with senior management and ownership, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
