Job Description
Twin Peaks is a widely recognized restaurant franchise known for its unique combination of lodge-themed atmosphere, exceptional hospitality, and a distinctive beverage program. The company operates franchised locations where independent franchisees manage their own hiring, wage, and benefits. As a franchise restaurant, Twin Peaks focuses heavily on delivering a consistent guest experience that pairs quality food and beverages with a warm, welcoming environment. The franchise locations offer opportunities for employment with competitive wages and benefits, though specific terms may vary between franchisees due to their independent management.
The role of a Twin Peaks Bar Back is pivotal in maintaining the efficiency and atmosphere of the bar area, supporting the bartenders—referred to as the Twin Peaks Girls—by ensuring the bar and all related equipment remain clean, stocked, and well-maintained. This position requires a high level of pride, discipline, and adherence to stringent cleaning and organizational standards that reflect the brand's dedication to excellence. Bar Backs are responsible for upholding health, safety, and sanitation protocols, demonstrating teamwork, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment to keep the bar running smoothly.
Team members in this role are expected to adhere strictly to appearance and uniform standards including wearing a clean Twin Peaks black hat properly, keeping hair and facial grooming well-maintained, and adhering to a no-jewelry policy to support a neat, professional look. This role includes routine cleaning duties such as mopping, restocking bar items, regularly checking and changing kegs, and ensuring taps and appliances are functioning correctly. The Twin Peaks Bar Back completes training prior to working independently, including local and state-regulated certifications for food and alcohol service.
Working conditions require the Bar Back to be physically active, with regular standing, walking, lifting up to 30 pounds, and handling various tools and bar equipment. The environment can involve exposure to cooking fumes, wet or humid conditions, cleaning chemicals, and occasionally cigarette smoke in designated smoking areas. Despite these challenges, the role offers a supportive team environment where adherence to safety and sanitation protocols is paramount.
This employment opportunity emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and professionalism and offers an excellent chance for individuals looking to develop their skills in hospitality and bar service within a popular and fast-growing franchise network.
