The Bar Assistant role at Atlas Restaurant Group is an essential support position within the bar environment, designed to help maintain the smooth operation of bar services and enhance the guest experience. This role includes assisting with opening and closing bar duties such as restocking garnishes, napkins, straws, and glassware to ensure bartenders have everything necessary to serve customers efficiently. Additionally, they handle checking and maintaining equipment functionality, including taps and appliances, sometimes performing minor repairs or keg changes.

This position requires the individual to be attentive, organized, and proactive in support tasks such as ice stocking, beverage inventory management including liquor, beer, and wine, and performing bussing duties like clearing empty cups and trash from the bar area and tables. The Bar Assistant also begins learning menu items and cocktail recipes, assisting bartenders with point-of-sale operations, and performing regular cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic and inviting bar environment.
