The role of Bar Back/Busser/Food Runner at Hotel Canandaigua, located in Canandaigua, NY, is a vital position within the hospitality team. This role is designed to support the bartending staff and restaurant team by ensuring a seamless and hospitable guest experience. The Bar Back is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, stocking the bar with necessary supplies, and assisting bartenders in drink preparation. Job Duties
- Assist in opening and closing duties with bartender and restaurant staff
- Stock liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, and glassware
- Monitor and refill ice, liquor, napkins, straws, and other bar items
- Maintain cleanliness behind the bar and guest areas by wiping counters, removing plates and glasses, sweeping, and mopping
- Assist bartenders and restaurant staff with drink preparation and food orders
- Take orders, use POS system, and execute payments when needed
- Provide a warm and hospitable presence for guests
