Job Requirements
- Provide highest level of customer service including greeting and engaging guests and building rapport
- Learn names and orders of regulars and provide recommendations
- Assist bartenders in preparing craft cocktails and serving a wide selection of bourbon
- Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar including washing glassware and restocking supplies
- Ensure the bar is stocked, organized and running smoothly in a high-volume environment
- Prepare fruit and other garnishes before opening
- Attractively display glasses and liquor bottles
- Serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with state regulations
- Use proper judgment and refuse service to intoxicated or disruptive patrons
- Follow health and sanitation practices and safety procedures
- Ability to open and close the store and monitor guests and safety practices
- Work late nights and weekends ensuring bar readiness
- Prolonged standing and drink preparation
- Ability to lift 50 pounds safely
- Must be legal drinking age
- Completion of mixology or related training preferred
- Advanced bartending skills
- Minimum one year related experience
