The Bar Back role at Four Seasons Nashville is an essential position that supports the bar and restaurant teams in delivering flawless service to guests. This full-time role requires a proactive individual who can maintain the seamless flow of operations by ensuring that bars and service areas are fully stocked, clean, and prepared at all times. The Bar Back acts as the backbone of the bar service, clearing and resetting tables efficiently, replenishing necessary supplies such as beer, liquor, and garnishes, and assisting bartenders and servers to meet and exceed guest expectations.

In this fast-paced role, the Bar Back also plays a key part in enhancing the guest experience by anticipating needs, promptly addressing concerns, and delivering food items with accuracy and professionalism. Attention to detail and the ability to work harmoniously with colleagues across departments are vital to success. Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift moderate weights and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
  • Previous experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or a luxury environment preferred
  • Strong guest service skills with a positive, team-focused attitude
  • Excellent communication and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Promptly clear, clean, and reset tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and silverware in a discreet and efficient manner
  • Anticipate guest needs, confirm satisfaction, and respond urgently and professionally to guest concerns or requests
  • Pick up food items from the kitchen, verify accuracy and presentation, and deliver to guests
  • Stock side stations with linens, china, glassware, silverware, paper goods, and other supplies
  • Replenish bar requisitions including beer, liquor, soda, juices, garnishes, and ice for bartenders
  • Break down, clean, and re-set side stations and back-of-house areas
  • Follow Four Seasons Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as outlined in EmPact
