The role of the Bar Back is essential in supporting our bartenders to maintain smooth bar operations. This is a support position focused on ensuring the bar area is orderly, stocked, and fully prepared to meet customer needs. The Bar Back assists by maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the bar area, preparing garnishes and mixes needed by bartenders, and restocking all necessary items including glassware, condiments, beer, paper products, and VIP bottle service kits. In addition, the Bar Back is responsible for pulling liquor from storage rooms and keeping the floor safe and clear of debris, spilled drinks, and glassware to prevent accidents and maintain a safe workspace.

Importantly, the Bar Back role does not involve preparing alcoholic beverages but is critical in providing the bartenders with the tools, supplies, and environment needed to perform their roles efficiently and effectively. This position requires attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the physical stamina to manage a fast-paced environment while ensuring the bar remains clean and well organized.
