Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Basic knowledge of bar operations and beverage service
  • Ability to follow directions and safety procedures
  • Excellent customer service mindset
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Responsible for maintaining stock, assisting during service, and providing go-to support for all bartenders' needs
  • Adhere to LodgeWorks attendance policy
  • Adhere to OSHA and LodgeWorks policies to ensure a safe work environment
  • Support the beverage operation through timely bussing and resetting of the bar
  • Run food and beverage items while engaging politely and productively with guests and teammates
  • Communicate, coordinate and work well with other team members
  • Support bartenders with pre-shift preparation, post-shift closing, and in real time during the shift
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work environment including stocking supplies and cleaning glassware
  • Stock the bar as necessary according to current business levels
  • Explain basic details of food dishes and beverages at time of delivery
  • Prepare basic non-alcoholic beverages such as water, coffee, and tea
  • Be an expert in the organization of the bar and the overall building
  • Flexibility to work different shifts including weekends, holidays, and nights
  • Assist in any other tasks as requested by management
