Job Requirements

be approachable and able to maintain a friendly demeanor even during busy times
be available to work various shifts, including days, nights, and/or weekends, as needed
thrive in a lively, fast-paced environment with a moderate to high noise level
be able to understand and communicate instructions and information effectively
be able to lift and carry items such as cases of beverages, ice bins, and bus tubs, weighing up to 30 pounds
move efficiently around the bar area and stand for extended periods
be able to walk or stand for the entire duration of their shift
frequently reach, bend, stoop, lift, and wipe down surfaces to maintain a clean and well-stocked bar
must meet the minimum age requirement for serving or handling alcohol as per local regulations

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in a bar or restaurant environment preferred but not required
ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
strong communication and teamwork skills
ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices is a plus

Job Duties

plays a crucial role in delivering top-notch drink service that complements our food and games, contributing to an atmosphere of all-out fun for our guests
keeps the bartender and immediate supervisor informed about any low stock, spills, or equipment issues, taking immediate action or suggesting solutions
provides efficient support by promptly restocking bar supplies, preparing garnishes, and ensuring ice bins are full, helping to minimize wait times for guests
maintains a positive and helpful attitude while assisting the bartenders and anticipating their needs during busy periods
assists with guest requests by relaying information to the bartender and ensuring the bar area is clean and organized for a positive guest experience
supports the bartender by retrieving ingredients, glassware, and other necessary items quickly and efficiently
ensures empty glasses are collected and the bar area is kept tidy throughout service
