Job Description
Hilton is a renowned global hospitality company known for its tradition of excellence, innovation, and delivering exceptional guest experiences since its founding in 1919. Spanning a wide range of lodging options, from luxury full-service hotels and resorts to mid-priced hotels and extended-stay suites, Hilton offers business and leisure travelers world-class accommodations, amenities, and value. With a rich history of care and service, Hilton maintains its place as an industry leader by consistently focusing on quality, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
As a Barback at Hilton, you play an essential role in supporting the bartending team and contributing to the hotel’s overall success. This position involves performing critical tasks that ensure the bar operates smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards of guest service. Your responsibilities will include retrieving and verifying stock to maintain accurate inventory, preparing the bar for service by cutting and slicing fresh garnishes, mixing juices, and ensuring all supplies are fully stocked and replenished as needed.
The Barback assists bartenders by stocking essential items such as glassware, ice, produce, condiments, paper products, and straws, which allows the bartenders to focus on serving guests. You will also be responsible for managing beer kegs and taps, including transporting, replacing, and conducting routine maintenance to ensure continuous beverage service without interruptions. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bar, beer lockers, refrigerators, and storage areas is an important part of the role, requiring strict adherence to federal, state, local, and company safety and sanitation regulations.
Working in this hospitality environment, you will be expected to demonstrate Hilton's core values, including hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and operating with urgency. The role requires a dependable, adaptable, and customer-focused individual who can thrive in a fast-paced team setting. At Hilton, your contributions will be recognized as part of a larger mission to provide memorable guest experiences and build an award-winning workplace culture.
By joining Hilton as a Barback, you become part of a prestigious brand that values your growth and success. Hilton supports its team members with comprehensive benefits, career development opportunities, and a strong community dedicated to hospitality excellence. Whether you are beginning your career or looking to advance it, this role offers a platform to develop your skills in an engaging, supportive environment where your work directly influences guest satisfaction and the hotel's financial success. Hilton is an Equal Opportunity Employer that celebrates diversity, including disability and veterans, ensuring a welcoming workplace for all individuals.
