We are currently looking to hire an energetic and capable Bar and Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee all daily operations. This full-time position reports directly to the General Manager and offers a competitive salary based on experience. As the Bar and Restaurant Manager, you will play a critical role in the smooth running of both front-of-house and back-of-house activities. Your leadership will be essential in optimizing our Point of Sale (POS) systems, enhancing collaboration with the kitchen staff, and ensuring an outstanding overall customer experience. Additionally, you will spearhead efforts to boost our online presence through social media management while booking and coordinating live entertainment acts that keep the energy buzzing on the floor.

This role demands a multifaceted skill set that balances operations management, staff leadership, and creative event programming. You will be responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating a close-knit front-of-house team to provide top-tier service. Managing inventory for food, liquor, and supplies will be your responsibility to maintain optimal stock levels while monitoring financial aspects like daily sales, cash handling, and weekly labor costs to keep profitability on track.

Your experience with POS backend systems will be vital in troubleshooting any issues and updating menus to reflect current offerings. You will work closely with the kitchen team to develop new menu items, improve food presentation, and enhance ticket system efficiency. Ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and liquor laws is critical to maintaining our established standards and reputation.

The ideal candidate will have over two years of management experience in a restaurant and bar setting, with a strong understanding of back-of-house and kitchen processes. Expertise in social media business pages and content creation is important for this role, along with established connections or experience in booking local musicians and talent. A solid knowledge of mixology, beer, wine, and food pairing will be essential to support our beverage program effectively. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary to meet the demands of the hospitality industry.

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house activities
