Founded on the philosophy encapsulated in the 'Positively Yours' culture, Canopy by Hilton is much more than a slogan; it represents the core attitude and approach the team members bring to their work daily. As a renowned part of the Hilton portfolio, Canopy hotels blend local culture with modern amenities to offer guests immersive and welcoming stays that reflect the neighborhoods in which they reside. The Canopy Jersey City Arts District location is an exciting new addition to this growing brand, perfectly situated to embody the artistic and energetic vibe of its surroundings while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality that guests expect from Hilton.

The role of a Bartender/Server at Canopy by Hilton Jersey City Arts District is a pivotal and rewarding position designed for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to creating memorable guest experiences. Reporting directly to the Assistant Food & Drink Manager, this position demands a person who can seamlessly blend serving skills with bartending expertise. The Bartender/Server is responsible for ensuring that all guests receive prompt, friendly, and professional service within the Canopy Bar & Bistro, a stylish and inviting food and beverage outlet within the hotel. The successful candidate will take orders, serve food and drinks, and maintain impeccable service standards aligned with Canopy’s Positive Stay Promise.

This role is ideal for those who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy interacting with guests, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business. With a focus on teamwork, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality hospitality, the Bartender/Server will contribute significantly to the overall guest satisfaction and reputation of the hotel. Duties will range from greeting and informing guests about menu options and daily specials, to managing the bar operations, including mixing cocktails and ensuring compliance with all legal and safety standards related to alcohol service.

Additionally, this position requires open availability, as the hospitality industry often demands flexibility, especially in weekends and evenings. Besides serving duties, the role also involves assisting with inventory management, maintaining cleanliness in service areas, and providing local recommendations to guests, enriching their stay with personalized touches. This comprehensive exposure offers a fantastic opportunity for growth within the hospitality field and an entry point into one of the world's most respected hotel brands.

At Canopy by Hilton, employee well-being and professional development are integral to the work culture.
