The Banquets Sous Chef role at Eofficial Enterprises, Inc. This role supports the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety across work and storage areas. The Sous Chef plays an essential role in maximizing cost efficiency by minimizing waste and optimizing production ratios. This position demands a proactive and hands-on approach as management-level associates are expected to work diligently to fulfill their responsibilities.

The Banquets Sous Chef provides leadership and supervision to kitchen personnel, fostering a friendly and service-oriented environment for both guests and employees. Responsibilities include maintaining attendance and personal grooming standards, complying with company hospitality standards and regulations, and contributing to budget management by controlling food costs. The Sous Chef is also involved in recruiting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff members to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures. Maintaining detailed records of food specifications, inventory, and kitchen operations is critical in this role.

In addition to operational management, the Banquets Sous Chef must effectively communicate with coworkers and guests to resolve issues and improve service quality under high-pressure circumstances.
