JW Marriott is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join its team as Banquet Servers at its Chicago, Illinois location. This part-time, non-management position offers competitive pay ranging from $9.47 to $12.62 per hour, with additional service charge eligibility and tips. Trainees can expect a training and paid time off rate of $20.45 per hour. The role focuses on delivering exemplary banquet service, ensuring that every event is flawless and guest expectations are exceeded. As a Banquet Server, you will play an integral part in preparing coffee breaks, organizing tables, stations, buffets, and service carts, and communicating special food requests accurately to the kitchen. Attention to detail is paramount; you will maintain the cleanliness and presentation of dinnerware and service areas, promptly clear plates, and ensure guests have easy access to all necessary items.
