The position available at W Hotels is centered around maintaining spotless and organized food and beverage service areas, ensuring all equipment and materials are properly cleaned and stored, and supporting the overall functionality of the hotel’s culinary and service departments. As part of the team responsible for the final breakdown and cleaning of service areas, this role involves thorough cleaning tasks, organizing, stocking, and maintaining workstations, all aimed at achieving optimal guest satisfaction and operational excellence. The role demands adherence to safety policies, including reporting maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, and injuries, alongside completing required training and certifications. Professional appearance and demeanor are essential, as is the respect and support of colleagues to help meet common goals. Physical demands include lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds unassisted, assisting with items over 75 pounds, as well as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and does not mandate previous related work experience or supervisory experience. The successful candidate must be capable of multi-tasking in a dynamic environment and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all assigned work areas. The role plays a vital part in the guest experience by ensuring that the behind-the-scenes areas are as impeccable as the visible front-of-house operations. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Complete final breakdown by cleaning the room and properly storing equipment
- Complete closing tasks such as storing reusable merchandise, locking doors, sorting merchandise
- Organize, stock, and maintain work areas
- Supervise and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of assigned service areas
- Transport dirty linens to designated areas for washing and restock shelves with clean linens
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day by following constant cleaning procedures
- Assist other departments as needed to ensure optimal guest service
