The position available is a crucial role within the Westin team, responsible for the complete final breakdown of functions, encompassing cleaning the room and returning equipment to designated areas. This role demands meticulous attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of workstations and service areas to ensure a superior guest experience. Responsibilities include setting up and stocking work areas, transporting and sorting linens, performing daily clean-as-you-go procedures, and assisting other departments as needed to maintain seamless service operations. The role entails physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods, highlighting the necessity of physical stamina and coordination.

Job Duties

  • complete final breakdown of function by cleaning the room and returning equipment to its proper location
  • complete closing duties including storing reusable goods locking doors and breaking down goods
  • set up stock and maintain work areas
  • monitor and maintain cleanliness sanitation and organization of assigned station and service areas
  • transport dirty linen to correct area separate napkins from tablecloths and restock linen shelves with clean linens
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
  • assist other departments to ensure optimum service to guests
