This full-time, non-management position at The Ritz-Carlton Clayton focuses on maintaining cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of the food and beverage and culinary service areas, critical to the smooth operation of the hotel’s high-end dining and guest services. The role involves completing final breakdowns of function rooms, including thorough cleaning, returning equipment to appropriate places, and handling closing duties such as storing reusable goods and securing the premises. Additionally, the position requires setting up and maintaining workstations and service areas to ensure they are fully stocked and organized throughout the shift. Linen management is also a key responsibility, involving transporting soiled linen for cleaning, separating napkins from tablecloths, and restocking clean linens.
The candidate will also practice clean-as-you-go procedures to maintain hygiene and sanitation standards consistent with The Ritz-Carlton's reputation for excellence. Assisting other departments to support seamless service delivery for guests is expected, highlighting the team-based culture of the hotel. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds without assistance and over 75 pounds with assistance
- Ability to follow all company and safety policies
- Ability to maintain personal appearance and professional conduct
- Capability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Willingness to support team goals and perform other reasonable job duties
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Complete final breakdown of function by cleaning the room and returning equipment to its proper location
- Complete closing duties including storing reusable goods, locking doors, and breaking down goods
- Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas
- Transport dirty linen to cleaning area, separate napkins from tablecloths, and restock linen shelves
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go procedures
- Assist other departments to ensure optimal guest service
