This role is for a Food Service Supervisor responsible for the supervision, training, and overall management of food service operations. In this position, the Food Service Supervisor is tasked with ensuring that appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served to meet customer satisfaction while adhering to all quality and safety standards. The role involves producing and maintaining work schedules, preparing necessary production records, and directing daily operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. A key part of the supervisor's duties includes maintaining food production standards in line with company policies, procedures, and departmental requirements to ensure the safety and quality of food provided.

The Food Service Supervisor oversees the storage of food items to ensure a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment. This includes maintaining accurate inventory on a weekly basis to align with departmental policies and ensuring that all food items are served as per menu specifications in a safe and appropriate manner. The supervisor also maintains serving schedules and enforces sanitary conditions under strict adherence to health and safety regulations. Beyond operational tasks, the role demands strong leadership capabilities to supervise and evaluate employees effectively, providing counseling and promoting employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork within the team.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to supervise and manage a team
  • Ability to work under physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment

  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards in a food service environment
