The Banquet Supervisor role is a pivotal position within our organization, responsible for overseeing the entire banquet event process from planning through execution to cleanup. This leadership role involves coordinating with various departments, including Food & Beverage and Sales teams, to ensure that each event runs smoothly and meets client expectations. The Banquet Supervisor is instrumental in maintaining high standards of service quality and operational efficiency by leading, motivating, and mentoring banquet staff. Key responsibilities include supervising setup, service, and post-event procedures, managing resources such as inventory and equipment, enforcing health and safety standards, and promptly addressing guest inquiries or issues.

Successful candidates for this role will have proven experience in banquet or event management, ideally in a supervisory capacity. Strong leadership and exceptional communication skills are essential to effectively manage the team and coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders. Job Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate all banquet event operations including setup service and cleanup
  • Lead and motivate banquet staff to deliver high-quality service and maintain standards
  • Collaborate with clients and event planners to understand their needs and ensure event specifications are met
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Management team and Sales team to ensure seamless service flow during events and daily operations
  • Monitor event timelines and ensure all aspects of the banquet are executed efficiently
  • Manage inventory equipment and supplies required for events
  • Enforce health safety and sanitation standards in accordance with company policies and regulations
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
  • Assist in training and developing banquet staff to enhance performance and teamwork
