The Banquet Supervisor position at Sodexo, located at the Music Center (PACLAC) is available as a full-time or part-time role, offering an hourly pay range of $25 to $30. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2-4 years banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience in banquet or event operations
  • Meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state regulations
  • Working knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems and event service processes
  • TIPS or TEAM alcohol training or equivalent
  • Food handler certification may be required based on location
  • Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity

Job Duties

  • Monitor event setup, service execution, and breakdown to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency
  • Provide supervision and coordination of banquet and catered event operations
  • Oversee Banquet Captains and Banquet Servers to fulfill Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and client standards
  • Ensure operational readiness and staffing oversight during events
  • Resolve issues promptly to maintain service standards and guest satisfaction
  • Support event preparation, setup, service, breakdown, and cleanup activities
  • Maintain compliance with safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
