Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-4 years experience in banquet, catering or food and beverage service
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in banquet or event operations
- Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state regulations
- Working knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Completion of TIPS or TEAM alcohol training or equivalent
- Food handler certification may be required based on location
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work varying shifts including days and hours with open availability preferred
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2-4 years banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in banquet or event operations required
- Working knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems and event service processes
- TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) or TEAM (Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management) alcohol training or equivalent
- Food handler certification may be required based on location
Job Duties
- Provide overall supervision and coordination of banquet and catered event operations
- Oversee Banquet Captains and Banquet Servers to ensure events are executed according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), service standards, and client expectations
- Monitor event setup, service execution, and breakdown to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency
- Maintain operational readiness including staffing oversight and issue resolution during events
- Support preparation, setup, service, breakdown, and cleanup activities
- Ensure safety, sanitation, and guest satisfaction during events
- Address any additional duties as assigned based on business needs and client requirements
