As part of their continuous growth and dedication to operational efficiency, the resort is looking for a Banquet Storeroom Manager to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on the crucial function of managing the Banquet Storeroom, ensuring that all operating supplies and equipment are effectively distributed and controlled to support the Banquet Captains, Banquet Servers, and related departments. The position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual, adept at inventory management, purchasing, and the logistics that keep banquet operations running smoothly.\n\nThe Banquet Storeroom Manager is responsible for overseeing the purchasing and receiving of all necessary banquet equipment, maintaining accurate inventory records, and controlling the distribution of banquet-related items including linens and supplies. This role guarantees that the storeroom is secure, organized, and maintains a clean environment conducive to efficient operation. Beyond managing supplies, the manager also ensures disposal of waste and packaging is handled cleanly, which supports the resort's commitment to sustainability and safety. Additionally, preparing and distributing food labels for all banquet functions in a timely manner is a vital part of the role, assisting in the precise execution of catered events. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Banquet Director and maintain regular communication with various resort departments, facilitating smooth internal operations. Familiarity with technology platforms including Microsoft Office Teams, BirchStreet, and Unifocus is essential for this role, highlighting the integration of digital tools in managing storeroom operations. The ideal candidate will bring some prior experience in hospitality, storeroom, or warehouse environments that underscore their capability to manage physical tasks such as lifting and handling goods, along with administrative responsibilities. The Banquet Storeroom Manager contributes directly to the resort's ability to provide flawless banquet services, making it a critical link in the overall guest satisfaction chain. This is a full-time position, located in the United States, with a competitive salary reflective of the candidate’s experience and skills.
Job Requirements
- must be able to read and write in English
- some hospitality and/or storeroom/warehouse experience preferred
- ability to lift 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- ability to walk or stand for significant periods
- ability to reach, handle, feel, talk, hear, and see
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of Unifocus
Job Duties
- purchasing and receiving all the necessary equipment ordered for daily banquet operation
- controlling the inventory
- controlling and distribution of the banquet equipment, linen, etc. in and out of the banquet storage areas
- ensure the safe keeping of all items, operating supplies, and equipment directly associated to the operation held in the designated storage areas
- keep designated storage areas organized, clean and tidy at all times
- dispose of waste materials and packaging cleanly and efficiently
- make and distribute food labels for all functions in a timely and efficient manner
- issue all equipment in accordance with department policies
- attend mandatory meetings
