The role available at The Lytle Park Hotel is a full-time Banquet Chef Assistant position offering a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $55,000. This role is crucial in assisting the Executive Chef with the planning, preparation, and execution of banquet and catering menus. The Banquet Chef Assistant leads culinary operations for a variety of events, from intimate gatherings to significant functions, ensuring that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality, presentation, and consistency. Supervisory duties include coaching and developing banquet cooks and stewards within a positive team environment, while also coordinating production schedules for seamless event delivery.

This position demands strong organizational and leadership skills, with a focus on controlling food costs, minimizing waste, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. Collaboration with the Banquets, Sales, and Operations teams is essential to guarantee flawless events. Flexibility is also important, as the role may require support in restaurant culinary operations when necessary. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of supervisory culinary experience within banquet or hotel operations, with prior exposure to luxury hotels or upscale catering settings preferred.
