Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in Culinary Arts or Business Administration
  • experience in culinary management or related food and beverage operations
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • ability to manage and train kitchen staff
  • proficiency in accounting procedures related to food and beverage
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • physical ability to perform tasks involving 65 percent physical work

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Culinary Arts or Business Administration
  • knowledge of current local health department standards
  • understanding of corporate HACCP and food safety SOPs
  • proficiency in basic computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, and TM1
  • experience in cooking and preparation equipment
  • basic human resources skills
  • knowledge of sales skills and techniques
  • leadership and team-building abilities

Job Duties

  • Support the chef in developing and representing all food, beverage, and service of the department
  • assist with interviews, hire, train, and manage all culinary staff daily
  • ensure knowledge of health department, corporate HACCP, food safety SOPs, and federal guidelines
  • help organize, oversee, and manage all food prep operations in daily operations
  • help create assigned menus, recipes, and use records
  • ensure continuous success of kitchen brigade and stations assignments following WLW SOPs
  • execute all accounting procedures including checkbook, invoice processing, payroll, inventories, and P&L critiques
