The Hotel Banquet Set-Up Staff position is an essential role contributing directly to the success of events held at the Grand Prairie Events Center. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently

Job Duties

  • Set up and break down event space according to Banquet Event Order
  • assure guest needs are attended to
  • attend to all public spaces throughout the event for consistent clean presentation
  • ensure supplies are available and equipment is set up and functioning properly
  • keep track of event supplies, equipment and carefully store furnishings when not in use
  • promptly report repair and maintenance needs
  • work late-night hours when necessary
