With a strong focus on training and development, the company offers numerous opportunities for career advancement and personal growth. Concord Hospitality prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer and strives to create a great workplace for all associates.
The role of Banquet Set-Up Associate at Concord Hospitality is a vital position that ensures the success of events by preparing and maintaining banquet spaces with precision and efficiency. This full-time role offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $14.50 to $17.40 and involves working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where attention to detail, teamwork, and a passion for guest satisfaction are essential. Although prior experience is not required, candidates should have a strong commitment to service, flexibility in scheduling, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving furniture and equipment.
As a Banquet Set-Up Associate, you will be responsible for setting up and breaking down event spaces according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring that rooms are flawlessly prepared for a variety of functions including corporate meetings, weddings, and social gatherings. You will attend to guest needs during events, maintaining the cleanliness and order of public areas to ensure a consistently excellent presentation. Managing supplies, tracking event equipment, and reporting any maintenance or repair issues are also key components of this role, requiring organizational skills and a proactive mindset.
Concord Hospitality values flexibility in its team members, as event schedules can vary, and you will need to adapt to changing demands. The company provides comprehensive benefits for full-time associates that include medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and disability options, as well as a 401(k) plan with company matching to support your financial future. Educational support through tuition assistance and discounted room rates at Concord-managed hotels further enhance the employee experience.
Joining Concord means becoming part of a vibrant team that celebrates success and fosters a positive environment where employees can thrive. If you are motivated, willing to contribute to guest satisfaction, and eager to work in a supportive and engaging hospitality setting, this position as Banquet Set-Up Associate offers a rewarding opportunity to advance your career in the hospitality industry.
