Job Description

Hilton is a global leader in the hospitality industry, renowned for delivering exceptional guest experiences through its extensive portfolio of world-class hotels and resorts. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, Hilton has welcomed over 3 billion guests worldwide, establishing itself as a trusted and recognized brand in the world of travel and accommodations. The company prides itself on its award-winning workplace culture, which has been repeatedly acknowledged on the World's Best Workplaces list by Great Place to Work and Fortune. This recognition highlights Hilton's dedication not only to its guests but also to its Team Members, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive and grow in their careers. Hilton's mission is to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality, a vision it brings to life through every interaction and every stay.

As a Banquet Set Up Manager at Hilton, you will play a crucial role in upholding the high standards of hospitality that the brand is known for by overseeing the setup and breakdown of hotel meeting spaces. Beyond the technical aspects of your job, this role offers the unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on guests' experiences by ensuring their meetings and events are flawlessly executed. You will be responsible for supervising the preparation and teardown of meeting rooms, making sure all specifications are met with precision and care. Additionally, maintaining pristine event spaces is key, so you will develop and implement checklists and cleaning schedules to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in all meeting and pre-function areas.

Leadership is a cornerstone of this position, as you will inspire and develop your team by providing ongoing coaching, performance monitoring, and support that fosters a positive and productive work environment. Hilton values qualities such as integrity, teamwork, and ownership, and it expects its Banquet Set Up Managers to embody these principles. Acting with integrity and doing the right thing forms the basis of every decision made, while inspiring leadership and collaborative teamwork drive the best outcomes. A sense of urgency and discipline is also essential, as every moment can create a lasting impression on guests.

Hilton also offers a comprehensive package of benefits designed to support the wellbeing and growth of its Team Members. These include incredible travel perks, where employees can enjoy deeply discounted rates at Hilton hotels worldwide; an employee stock purchase program which allows team members to invest in Hilton shares at a favorable rate; paid parental leave for eligible team members, including partners and adoptive parents; and personalized caregiving support services to assist with family care needs. During difficult times, the Crisis Concierge offers a compassionate support system, while mental health resources are available through a top-tier Employee Assistance Program.

In addition to these benefits, Hilton provides generous paid time off, comprehensive health and welfare plans covering medical, dental, and vision needs, and retirement plans aimed at financial security. The company’s holistic approach to Team Member care ensures that employees feel valued and supported both professionally and personally.

Joining Hilton means becoming part of a global community dedicated to hospitality excellence and continuous improvement. Whether you are beginning your career or seeking new professional opportunities, Hilton supports your journey by offering a thriving environment where your contributions are recognized and your career aspirations are nurtured. By embracing the values of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a focus on the present, you can help Hilton continue to set new standards in the hospitality industry and create unforgettable experiences for every guest.
