Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in banquet or hospitality service preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capable of lifting and moving up to 25 pounds
  • Must communicate effectively in English
  • Adherence to grooming and uniform standards
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in banquet or food and beverage service preferred
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and service standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to speak and understand English

Job Duties

  • Perform all banquet side work as designated by the banquet captain
  • Efficiently and properly perform all Hotel ZaZa service standards
  • Attend to all needs of the guests during functions and function related duties
  • Report to banquet manager any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of banquet equipment
  • Assist in the upkeep and organization of all liquor and related supplies
  • Be familiar with and adhere to all liquor laws
  • Attend all designated pre-meal meetings
  • Adhere to grooming guidelines and proper uniform standards including wearing Z-Pin
  • Follow all proper hotel safety policies and procedures and use safety equipment as needed
